- Check if you can lock the door with the inside door knob
- If you can lock the door then you can activate the lock function by holding the button for 15-20 seconds: wait for a bip and test if you can unlock and lock the door again.
- Check if you need to lift the door handle (Multipoint Lock Door handles, Lift & Lock)
- If the door has a deadlock mechanism then you do not need to use the button at the side of the lock
